If you've ever asked yourself, "What is paleo or what is paleo diet?" then we may be able to help. Technically, at its core, a paleo diet removes grains (therefore naturally gluten free), dairy (cheese, milk, butter), legumes (beans, peas, soy), and refined sugars. There are many, many variations of a paleo diet so how specific you get is entirely up to you. There is no right or wrong.

Treasured Earth Foods chose paleo because it was the diet that helped Ruth's father reverse his diabetes and lose weight. Over the years we've had quite a number of those with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes tell us they successfully enjoy our products. Back in the early 2000s there weren't as many healthy food options as there are today. Rarer still were healthy baked goods and sweets.

So, to fill a need, Treasured Earth Foods was born. In addition to aiming for a healthy food, it had to taste amazing. No one wants terrible tasting food, especially if you're trying to reduce the stuff that tastes so good but is junk food that makes you feel terrible.

All of our products go from freezer, to counter, to freezer again without loss of quality or freshness. We recommend storing muffins in the freezer until ready to eat so they last the longest for you. If you put them in the fridge they'll last about 3 weeks. If you leave them on the counter they'll last 5-7 days, depending on the temperature.
